week end reflection 2

As the partof our BEd curriculum the students got different schools for the teaching practise phase2. So every week end saturday/sunday a week end reflection were held on our college. On 30/06/19 sunday the second week end reflection were conducted under the guidance of our principal Roy sir. Each and every students share their own experiance on the teaching practise life. From MTGHS kottarakara monisha from malayalam option share our one week experiance.

Week end reflection 1

By the part of our BEd syllabus I got M.T.G.H.S Kottarakara for my teaching practise. We there are six student teacher in our school including me. I got 8A & 8B english medium class for teaching. First day in my class my mentor lally teacher introduce to students and myself to students and then take the leason template 1. Also we had substitution period in everyday class. Moreover we all are engaged the functions that celebrated in school. Really a nice experiance in my life.
                 The first reflection section on our BEd college was conducted on 23/06/19 sunday. There was one representative for everyschool shared their experiance and reflection about the school and teaching experiance. Most of the students pointed out the classroom management problem and also the illiteacy of some students. Teachers gave instructions and advice for improving the class.

Teaching practice first day

Based of our BEd curriculum we have teaching practice in different school. I and my group companions of 5 members were at MTGHS kottarakara. Starting from 19 june to 22 august. My first day of school as a teacher will be a memorable experiance. In 19 june was celebrated as a Vayanadinam. Our school celebrated the ceremony with a large number of programmes. Vayanadinam was celebrated by the kerala in the memory of P N Panicker. The programme was graced with DEO  in kottarakara. Various competition were conducted

Tour programme 2018-20 batch

Our college conducted a study tour on 27/5/19 @5pm. It was a four day trip. Trip was an exposure one to a place of educational or historical importance.35 students were participated the tour programme. The journey started @5pm, we had dinner @8:30 pm on Oottupura. Then we started trip to Coorg @ 9pm and reached coorg @7:30am. Next we went to goldentemple, Bamboo forest $ an exciting Riverrafting programme. It was a nice experiance Iin my life and @night 8:30pm we all are joined the DJ party with campfire. After the programme we stayed@ Misty garden. On 3rd day all arxewakeup @ 4:30am and started the journey to chikmanglore at 6am and reacged their at9am. We had breakfast on Mayoorihotel, then went to trekking and then moved

to Banglore at5pm and reached banglore at 10pm then stayed @ Devaresidency. On the last day we went to Bannerghatta national park, visvesvaraya museum. The museum contain educationaly important one. Then we go to to shopping @ commercial street and return to kerala @6pm and hadddinner @9:30pmon Krishnagirisagar hotel and started the journey to kerala. We reached kottarakara on 31/5/19 @10:30am. Ir was an exploring, entertainment trip.

FAREWELL MEETING

On 4th April 2019 we organised a farewell meeting to our dear seniors. It was a formal meeting. We conducted some programmes like dance,songs etc. The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again is a nice thought. Oru manager also retired from the post. New manager of our institution was attend that meeting and gives a good thoughts to all of them. We conducted that programme with nicely all enjoyed very much.

Sports Day

On 23th March 2019 our college conducted annual sports meet. The programme started on sharp 9am with a lovely prayer song and flag hosting. The items are Race,Relay,javelin throw,short put,discus throw. I participated race 50m& 100m and relay 400m. Trophies and medals are distributed to winners. I got 2nd prize for badminton singles and 3rd prize in relay. At last snacks were distributed by refreshment committee. All students were participated the programme with an everlasting sportsman spirit. The championship trophy was owned by Ruby group. All are enjoyed very much.

RANGOLSAV 2019

Rangolsav 2019 was conducted on March 8 in Peet memorial training college Mavellikara. It was located in Alapuzha district,Kerala. Morethan 30 Colleges were participate in this programme. The programme creates and explore their talents in students. It was one of the best platform to show their creative ideas and skills.
Our college also participate in this programme. Total 12 Programme were presented. I was one of the participant in groupsong. It was a nice experiance for me. It continue for 2days.

Puppetry making programme

As the part of art education 27/02/2019 we decided to organise a puppetry making show. The programme was arranged by Riju sir under the guidance of Roy sir. The resource person name Gopalakrishnan sir who was the retired art education sir of hss.  First sir explain about the puppetry and what are the different types of puppetry. Glove puppetry and String puppetry are the most commonly used in kerala. He expalin how these puppetry can implement in a class for the teaching learning process. This was one of the best method of teaching process. This was very interesting to pupils for acquiring knowledge. Glove puppetry is also called as finger puppetry. Finger puppetry can make easily and this puppetry can move with the help of fingers. We prepare different types of finger puppet like animals,birds,flowers etc.
At the end of the class we all have to perform a puppetry groupwise based on our script(title :- Plastic Pollution)  and from this show we gave  a valuable message to audience. All are enjoyed the show very much and a very nice experiance for me. This show will help for all for the further teaching strategies.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2018

The Christmas celebration took place in the college on 21 st december 2018. Christmas is an annual festival,commemorating the birth of jesus Christ, observed primarily in December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world. Our campus celebrated the programme very grantly. The college choir group sang the song very rhythmically,it create makes a beutiful atmosphere. I also a member of this group.Many students were participated in different programmes like drama, fusion dance skit,solo…to fullfill the function. We some of them were participated the fusion dance and enjoyed very much. Atlast of the function find a christmas friend &handover the gift packages for all. The celebration end with cutting a cake and wishes of santacruz.

School induction Day 4

Today was the final day of our school induction programme, and the last working day in Marthoma girls high school kottarakara. I reached the school @9:10 am. Then HM will inform me to attend a programme in DIET with the participation of some students. I had give an opportunity to guide that students with a teaching staff aji teacher. Afternoon i came to school and taken my class in 8th std. Atlast period a substitution period was taken.
           Later as the part of.our school induction we had to collect the further information about the school. The HM,teaching &non teaching staffs helps in gathering the essential information. We met all the teachers again and  thanks for their great support. They all invited we to participate the Repyblicday celebration,then we all agree for their invitation.
 With great satisfaction i left our school, waiting for the teaching practice days.…………

school induction Day 3

The day started meeting the headmistress and the concern teacher. During the 3rd period i completed my 2nd lesson plan in 8th std students. The class was very interesting manner with response from the students side. After the class we decided to collect the school cluba and awards. Then we departed from the school @ 4pm.

School induction Day 2

We reached the school @ 9:10 am. During the 2nd period i taken my first lesson note in 8th standard. For checking my class Sharoan teacher came and observe it. Then the supervision by teacher and i'am completed my lessonplan after the class period teacher will evaluated. Three substitution period was assigned to me. As days passed my tension towards conducting the class was reduced then i will enjoyed my profeesion so much. Then we decided to collect the important registers of the school. All nonteaching&teaching staff will cooperate with me.

School induction programme Day 1

As the part of our BEd curriculum(2 nd semester), we have a weeks school induction programme. Five of my friends and i'am were assigned to do the induction programme in Marthoma Girls High School Kottarakara for a week from 14th january 2019.
                                    We reached the school @ 9:15 am and met the headmistress jolly teacher and the subject concern Smt. Lally teacher and collect topic for lesson notes. During the 2nd period,the class was taken by Linu teacher and am observed the class. After the class,we decided to collect the history of the school for writig the report. Then we departed from the school @4pm.
